The Los Angeles Lakers took down the Phoenix Suns on Sunday afternoon and Dorian Finney-Smith was a big part of their victory.
He posted 10 points, six rebounds, and three assists in the game and was aggressive on both ends of the court.
Speaking with clair de lune, Finney-Smith opened up about how he plays and what he means to the team.
“I’m a shark – I kill just cause, not cause I’m hungry,” he said, per Legion Hoops.

Finney-Smith’s first few months with the Lakers have been very eventful.
He is averaging 6.7 points and 3.6 rebounds per game since coming to Los Angeles but that doesn’t tell the full story.
Finney-Smith has been consistent and strong and has been very helpful when it comes to defense.
He was the type of player they needed and has fit into JJ Redick’s plans with ease.
The Lakers’ roster has gotten much deeper recently and Finney-Smith is part of why they can stay competitive during all four quarters.
He is now starting more often and pours himself into every game, bringing high energy and intensity into every play.
The Lakers have suffered a few difficult defeats since losing LeBron James to injury.
With that being said, they are still the fifth seed in the West and look like they will make noise in the playoffs.
If they want to score a lot of wins, they will need Finney-Smith to keep playing like he has been and keep that same shark-like attitude.
He appears very comfortable with his role on the team and is ready to give more.
